Nergal Jr is the son of Nergal and Billy's aunt Sis, and was born only a couple of episodes after his parents hooked up as a green egg with large round glasses. In this episode, Nergal sent him up to winter camp to have fun, despite Jr's concerns that he wouldn't fit in with the other children. After hatching on the surface, he tried to befriend a little boy he found building a snowman, but the kid laughed at him and blew him off as a freak. Jr didn't take kindly to this and put the little boy in a state of suspended animation before copying his form and going to camp.
Joining the other kids, he met his cousin Billy for the first time, but found their room to be too cold for his liking. At some of the other kids' suggestion, which he didn't realize was a ploy to get him in trouble, he walked over to the counselor's cabin and was coldly turned away by the man and called a freak again. He didn't take kindly to that and captured the counselor, staying overnight since it was warm. The next morning he answered the door disguised as the counselor and received his stuffed bear, Mr. Bonkers, from Billy who had noticed that it had been forgotten.
Over the course of the rest of camp, Jr became convinced that he could be popular and have friends by turning into the popular kids. But each time he replaced one person, someone else would take the spotlight. Soon he had replaced everyone though and only Billy and his friend Mandy were left. Late at night, Billy stumbled across the place where all of the sleeping campers were hidden and Jr approached him with the offer to be best friends. Billy refused because Mandy was his best friend, so Jr turned into Mandy to try and win him over. Bill noted that he had it wrong though, especially because Mandy didn't wear glasses that Billy claimed made Jr look like a freak. This set Jr off, as he was sick of being called a freak. He captured Billy and prepared to add him to the camper collection, but Mandy appeared and demanded that he let Billy go.
At first, jr was confident that she couldn't do anything, but then Mandy tossed Mr. Bonkers' head at his feet. Distraught and not wanting to see more harm come to his only real friend, Jr was quick to comply when she repeated herself. She tossed him the teddy's body and turned to leave, but Billy felt sorry for Jr since he was clearly upset and lonely, so he offered to be Jr's friend if he would be himself. Upon Billy's reassurance that he would be scared off, Jr showed him his real form and Billy was immediately horrified how grotesque it looked, resulting in Jr taking his place instead as the episode ended.
